Slingo Games at Dream Bingo

If you love ticking off numbers in our bingo rooms but fancy something a little faster, Slingo is made for you. It takes the card from a game of 75-ball bingo and swaps the caller for a spinning reel, so every spin can mark numbers, trigger features and build towards a line. At Dream Bingo you'll find Slingo games, from classic Slingo Originals to versions of favourite slots and TV shows.

What is Slingo?

Slingo is a mix of slots and bingo, and the name joins the two together. It was invented in the US in 1994 and has since become a staple of UK bingo sites.

Unlike a bingo room, Slingo is a solo game. There's no waiting for a session to start and no sharing the prize with other players. You play your own card at your own pace, and your result depends on how many lines you complete before your spins run out.

How to play Slingo?

Most Slingo games follow the same basic rules, although features and prizes vary from title to title. Always check the game's help screen before you play.

  1. Choose your stake. Set your bet before the round, just as you would on a slot.
  2. Look at your card. You'll see a 5x5 grid filled with numbers from 1 to 75, split into columns like a bingo ticket.
  3. Spin the reel. A single row of five symbols sits below the grid. Each spin lands a number or a special symbol under every column.
  4. Mark your matches. Any number on the reel that appears in the column above it is marked automatically.
  5. Use the specials. Jokers let you mark any number in their column. Super Jokers let you mark any number on the whole card. Other symbols, such as Free Spins and Coins, add extra spins or instant prizes.
  6. Watch for Devils. In many games a Devil blocks a match on that spin and can reduce your prize. Some games let you cancel it with a feature.
  7. Complete Slingos. Every full line, whether across, down or diagonal, is a "Slingo". The more you complete, the higher you climb the prize ladder.
  8. Decide on extra spins. When your standard spins run out (often 10), you may be offered more. Each one has a price based on what you could still win, shown before you buy. You can always collect and end the round instead.

There are 12 possible lines on the card: five across, five down and two diagonals. Completing all 12 is a Full House and lands the top prize on the ladder. If you're after bigger prize pots, our jackpot games offer prizes that grow until someone wins.

If you enjoy the satisfaction of daubing a card but want quicker rounds, Slingo is a natural next step from the bingo rooms.

Our Slingo lobby mixes original titles with games based on familiar names. Here are a few good places to start :

Slingo Rainbow Riches. The leprechaun favourite moves from the reels to the grid, bringing its Irish theme and bonus features with it. A strong pick if you already play the slot.

Slingo Starburst. The bright gem symbols and expanding wilds of NetEnt's classic slot, reworked around a Slingo card. Simple, colourful and quick to pick up.

Slingo Deal or No Deal. Complete Slingos to reach the boxes, then decide whether to take the Banker's offer or play on. Ideal if you like a bit of decision-making in your game.

Slingo Riches. One of the original Slingo titles and a good way to learn the core rules before trying themed versions.

Slingo FAQs

Q. What is Slingo?

A. Slingo is a game that combines bingo and slots. You spin a reel to mark numbers on a 5x5 bingo-style card and win prizes by completing lines, called Slingos.

Q. How do you win at Slingo?

A. You win by completing Slingos: full lines across, down or diagonally. Prizes increase with each Slingo, and completing all 12 lines is a Full House. Results are random, so there is no way to guarantee a win.

Q. What is a Full House in Slingo?

A. A Full House means every number on your card is marked, completing all 12 Slingos. It pays the top prize on the game's ladder.

Q. Can you win real money playing Slingo?

A. Yes. When you play with a real money stake, prizes are paid to your account. Always play within a budget you can afford.

Q. Are extra spins worth buying?

A. It depends on the round. The game shows the price of each extra spin before you buy, and it rises when a big prize is close. You can always collect your winnings instead.

Q. Can I play Slingo on mobile?

A. Yes, every Slingo game at Dream Bingo works in your mobile browser and in our app.

Q. Is Slingo the same as bingo?

A. No. Bingo is played in shared rooms with a caller, while Slingo is a solo game where you spin a reel to mark your own card.
